Ad scheduling

Launch the batch now. Let Meta start the ads later.

Scheduled Meta ads use start and end times on the ad itself. AdManage sets those times on the batch so a Sunday drop does not require someone in Ads Manager at 6am.

Example flight
Start: 2026-08-18 06:00 UTC
End: 2026-08-25 23:59 UTC

The ads exist in the account after launch. Spend starts at the scheduled time, so the Sunday drop does not need a 6am Ads Manager session.

Meta scheduling

Publish the draft. Time the go-live.

  • Start and end times on the ad
  • Sales and app promotion campaigns
  • Per-row override when one ad goes live earlier

What it does

The clock belongs on the ad, not in a calendar reminder

Start time, optional end time

Set when the ads should start spending. Add an end time when the flight is a weekend or a drop, not an always-on test.

Works on the campaign types Meta allows

Meta scheduling is available on sales and app promotion objectives. AdManage surfaces the field where it will actually publish.

One ad can go early

Keep the batch scheduled for Monday. Override a single row if that creative should start Sunday night.

Why this exists

Why scheduling is a launch setting

Go-live is not the same as publish.

Creative approval can happen Friday. Spend should start Monday. If those are the same click, someone has to babysit Ads Manager.

A calendar invite is not an API field.

Meta already supports ad schedule start and end times. The launch tool should write them, not leave a Slack reminder.

How it runs

Build paused. Set the clock. Publish.

1

Finish the batch

Naming, enhancements, preview link, and destinations first.

2

Set the schedule

Choose the Meta start time, and an end time if the flight is dated.

3

Publish

Ads are created on schedule instead of going live the moment you click launch.

FAQ

Scheduling questions

Can I schedule Meta ads in AdManage?
Yes. Set ad schedule start and end times on the batch. Ads are created in the account, and spend starts at the scheduled time.
Which campaign types support Meta scheduling?
Meta allows scheduling on sales and app promotion objectives. AdManage shows the schedule fields on those launches.
Can one ad in the batch use a different start time?
Yes. Set a default schedule on the batch, then override start or end time on a single row.
Is this the same as pausing ads after launch?
No. A paused launch stays off until someone turns it on. A scheduled ad starts itself at the time you set, which is what weekend drops need.
