Facebook event response ads
Promoting a launch, open day or live event? Select the Facebook Page event in AdManage, prepare the creative batch and publish to an eligible event-response ad set. The ads point people to the event rather than a website landing page.
Facebook Page event: Autumn open day ad set destination: Facebook event creative batch: venue photos + speaker videos table mode: one event selection per row
The Facebook event is the ad destination. It is selected before launch, rather than added after publishing.

What it does
Choose a future event from the connected Page or look it up using its Facebook event URL or ID.
In table mode, use the Event column to select the Facebook event for each event-response row. Different local events can have their own creatives.
AdManage checks that an event is selected for event-response ads and uses the event destination and RSVP call to action at launch.
Why this exists
Event-response ad sets need the Facebook event attached to the creative. Reusing a website ad without changing its destination can cause a failed publish.
When a batch promotes several locations or dates, per-row event selection helps you pair each creative with the correct Page event.
How it runs
Use an eligible Meta ad set with the Facebook event destination. A website-traffic ad set is a different setup.
Select Facebook event in the ad copy settings, or use the Event column for each row in table mode. Create the event on Facebook first if it does not exist.
Check the event, copy and creative for each ad before publishing. Meta still applies its eligibility and ad review requirements.
