Real AdManage account data
Meta CPM benchmarks
5,400+ accounts · 2026-09-28 to 2026-10-25 (UTC).
Your input is 28.6% lower than this cohort’s median. Lower cost alone does not mean better results.
Where these benchmarks come from
Meta account data aggregated by AdManage’s existing weekly BigQuery benchmark pipeline. Each point is a percentile across account-level ratios, not an average of daily rates or a spend-weighted mean. This is an AdManage sample, not the entire advertising market.
Accounts need at least $500 in estimated USD spend and 1,000 impressions in the reporting window. Internal accounts are excluded. Public cohorts need at least 50 accounts, values are rounded to two significant figures, and account counts are rounded down. The source pipeline suppresses cohorts where one account contributes more than 40% of spend. Industry labels may be machine classified.
CPM uses spend divided by impressions, multiplied by 1,000. Original account currencies are normalised to USD using fixed exchange-rate estimates, not live or historical FX.
Source run completed 2026-10-26. The tools check for a newer run hourly and hide benchmarks whose reporting window ended more than 45 days ago. Countries, objectives and attribution mixes can differ from yours.
CPM = ad spend ÷ impressions × 1,000Use total impressions, not reach. Reach counts people; impressions count displays and can include repeat views.
How to use this CPM calculator
How to calculate CPM
Divide campaign spend by impressions, then multiply by 1,000. For example, 2,000 in spend and 200,000 impressions produce a CPM of 10. The result uses the same currency as your spend. To estimate a budget instead, multiply your target impressions by CPM and divide by 1,000.
What is a good CPM?
There is no universal good CPM. Compare the same country, objective, placement, audience and date range. A low CPM buys inexpensive exposure; it does not prove that people click or buy. Read CPM alongside link CTR, conversion rate and acquisition cost before moving budget.
CPM vs CPC vs CPA
CPM measures the cost of 1,000 impressions. CPC measures spend per click, and CPA measures spend per acquisition. A campaign with a higher CPM can still have a lower CPA if its creative earns more qualified clicks and conversions. Use the CTR and ROAS tools below to follow the next steps in that chain.

Common questions
How do I calculate impressions from CPM?
Impressions = ad spend ÷ CPM × 1,000. At a CPM of 10, a budget of 2,000 buys an estimated 200,000 impressions. Auction delivery can differ from a forecast.
Does this CPM calculator work for Facebook, TikTok and Google?
Yes. The formula is platform independent. Enter spend and impressions from the same platform, campaign and reporting period. Do not mix different currencies without converting them first.
Is CPM the same as viewable CPM?
No. Standard CPM uses served impressions. Viewable CPM uses impressions that meet the platform's viewability rules. Choose the matching denominator when comparing reports.
