Destination URL + utm_source + utm_medium + utm_campaign + optional tracking tagsHow to use this UTM builder
- Replace the example URL with the full http:// or https:// destination.
- Choose a preset or enter your source, medium and campaign. Add optional campaign ID, content and term labels.
- Review the generated URL, then copy it or download a CSV. Test your real landing page and check your analytics implementation separately.
Worked example
For an illustrative Meta campaign, source=facebook, medium=paid_social, campaign=autumn_launch and content=video_a distinguish the traffic source, channel, promotion and creative. If the destination already has ?variant=blue#details, the builder keeps that variant and fragment while adding the tags.
What each UTM parameter is for
Source identifies the origin of the visit; medium describes the channel; campaign labels the promotion. Campaign ID is an optional identifier. Content can distinguish creative variants or link positions, and term can label a paid keyword. This builder requires source, medium and campaign to encourage a consistent baseline.
Keep naming and URL structure consistent
Different capitalisation can split values in campaign reports, so the builder offers lowercase UTM values. It never lowercases a case-sensitive destination path. It replaces the six standard tags it manages, preserves other parameters and the fragment, and encodes spaces and special characters correctly.
A tracking link still needs working analytics
Generating a tagged URL does not install GA4, validate a landing page, check consent settings or guarantee attribution. Use campaign tags for acquisition links, not routine internal site navigation. Keep personal information out of the URL. For dynamic ad-platform macros and launch-wide templates, use AdManage’s UTM feature.

Common questions
Is this a free Google Analytics campaign URL builder?
Yes. It creates links using standard UTM tags that an appropriately configured analytics implementation can read. It is an independent AdManage tool, not an official Google product, and no AdManage account is required.
What happens to existing UTM tags and query parameters?
The builder replaces source, medium, campaign, ID, content and term tags with the values in the form. Empty optional tags are removed. Other query parameters and the #fragment are kept. Use Load existing tags from URL if you want to edit a link’s current tags.
Does it support Meta or Google Ads dynamic macros?
This form creates fixed campaign values. Braces are URL-encoded and the tool shows a warning if you enter a macro. Use the platform’s supported dynamic parameters or AdManage UTM templates for automated campaign names, ad IDs and similar values.
Does the tool shorten links or verify that they work?
No. It builds a full tagged URL in your browser without requesting the destination. A valid URL structure is not proof that a page exists or analytics is collecting visits. Test the actual destination before using a campaign link.
