Multi-advertiser ads

Multi-advertiser: on when you want it, off when you do not.

Meta can show your ad next to other advertisers. That is useful for some shopping setups and wrong for a brand-safe test. AdManage sets the enroll status on the launch instead of leaving Meta's default.

Typical brand-safe default
multiAdvertiser: OPT_OUT

Shopping launches that want partner inventory switch the batch to OPT_IN. Reused creatives get the same flag, so old posts do not inherit a surprise default.

Multi-advertiser

The enroll status is a launch flag

  • OPT_IN or OPT_OUT at launch
  • Batch default with per-row override
  • Applies on reused creatives too

What it does

Do not find out after the ads are live

Explicit opt in or opt out

The launch sends enroll_status with the creative, including when you reuse an existing post or creative ID.

One default for the client

Brand-safe accounts stay opted out. Shopping accounts that want the inventory can opt in on the batch.

Override a row

Keep the account opted out, then opt a single catalog test in without changing the rest of the launch.

Why this exists

Why this is not a Meta default you can ignore

Inventory mix is a brand decision.

Some clients want the extra reach. Others will reject an ad that appears next to unknown advertisers. That choice belongs on the launch.

Reused creatives still need the flag.

Boosting an existing post without setting enroll status is how an old creative picks up a new Meta default.

How it runs

Choose the enroll status. Launch. It sticks.

1

Pick the default

Opt in for shopping inventory, or opt out for brand-safe tests.

2

Override rows if needed

One catalog ad can opt in while the rest of the batch stays out.

3

Publish through the API

The enroll status goes with the creative, including reused ads.

FAQ

Multi-advertiser questions

What are Meta multi-advertiser ads?
Meta can show your ad in placements alongside other advertisers. AdManage lets you opt in or out at launch instead of inheriting a default after publish.
Can I turn multi-advertiser ads off?
Yes. Set the batch to opt out. That enroll status is sent with new creatives and with reused existing ads.
Can one ad opt in while the rest opt out?
Yes. Use a batch default, then override the multi-advertiser flag on a single row.
Does this apply when I reuse an existing post?
Yes. AdManage attaches the enroll status when publishing with an existing creative or post ID, not only on net-new uploads.
