The climb was never the problem. 😮‍💨 Three miles down and I'm side-stepping, one rock at a time, while the group waits at the car. I tried the poles — until my hands were full on a scramble. Ibuprofen at the trailhead. Ice at the hotel. A sleeve that rolled to my calf by mile two. None of it touched the actual issue. Going down, your legs aren't pushing — they're braking. Thousands of times. And all of that braking force passes through one spot: the kneecap. Which is exactly where the AirPad goes. An 8-shaped air chamber, directly under the kneecap, in the load path, on every single step down. Air doesn't wait for a nerve signal — it's already there before the foot lands. Silicone interior grips skin instead of squeezing, so sweat doesn't send it sliding. Open back so the leg isn't cooking. Hands stay free. 5,300+ hikers. 60% off. $34.65 each instead of $78, free shipping on the pair, plus 15 exercises built for hikers. Stop dreading the way down. 👇
