Opt in with the product set
When the ad should show catalog items, AdManage sends product extensions with the product set ID you selected.
Product extensions
Product extensions let Meta attach catalog items to a creative. AdManage opts them in on the launch and points at the product set, instead of leaving Advantage+ catalog surprises for after publish.

Non-catalog tests keep product extensions off, so Meta cannot attach items you never approved.
Catalog on the creative
Extensions are a launch flag, not a Meta default
What it does
When the ad should show catalog items, AdManage sends product extensions with the product set ID you selected.
Prospecting image tests should not grow a product carousel after publish. The default is off unless you enable catalog.
Shopping launches usually need the extra links, the tags, and the catalog together. All three are launch settings.
Why this exists
If Meta adds products after publish, the live unit is not the preview. Shopping teams want that. Prospecting teams do not.
An opt-in without a product set is a broken shopping ad. The launch tool should send both together.
How it runs
Use the catalog already connected to the ad account.
Opt in on the batch, or on the rows that should show products.
Confirm the creative still matches the client draft, including catalog cards.
