“‘I can’t hit 10k steps… I’m stuck at home, kids hanging off me all day!’ Heard this before? Maybe even said it yourself? Here’s the truth hitting 10k doesn’t mean endless walks or hours on the treadmill. We don’t have the luxury of time to do that. For busy mums, it’s about stacking movement into your actual life. Here are some easy, no-excuse ways to do it 1. Laundry laps 🧺 – do grab everything and put it away together, take a few bits at a time. You’ll clock up those steps up and down those stairs. 2. Playground cardio 👶 – Instead of just sitting on the bench, walk the perimeter while the kids play. 3. Kitchen timer trick 🍳 – While food’s in the oven, set a timer for 5 minutes and jog on the spot while you’re waiting. This goes for making coffee and tea too. 4. Phone call steps 📱 – Pacing during calls easily racks up 500–1,000 steps. 5. Tidy-up sprints 🧹 – Stick music on and make cleaning a mini workout. 6. Dance party 🎶 – 3 songs with the kids = 1,000+ steps without even noticing. 7. Running a bath for the kids - Don’t just stand and wait - use that time to jog. Add just three of these into your routine and you’ll be cruising towards 10k daily without fail. And the best bit? It doesn’t feel like “exercise”… it just feels like life. 👉 Busy mums I work with are hitting 10k consistently (without the guilt or overwhelm). If you want the same—DM me the word STEPS and I’ll show you how to build this into your day, stress-free.184K reach

MUMS FOLLOW @mrssusiejenkins for more advice on how to tone up, get strong and feel confident again! 📱 Your Apple Watch says you burned 700 cals. Cool. But Look—those numbers are estimates, not permission slips. Calories burned = guess. Calories eaten = real. Relying on “earned calories” is why so many people train like athletes and still don’t make progress. 📌 Your watch tracks movement. I help you track results. It is not gospel. Ignore the cals burned - focus on the cals you’re eating. DM me “CALORIES” if you’re ready to stop guessing and actually start seeing changes 💬101.1K reach

LETS BE CLEAR 👉 VERY THIN DOES NOT MEAN “TONED”. And this isn’t hate toward Demi Moore. Demi you do you etc. But THIS is exactly the kind of journalism that keeps women confused about health, fitness and body image. Because the media constantly uses words like: ‘toned’ ‘fit’ ‘strong’ ‘healthy’ …when what they actually mean is: ‘very thin’. Those things are not automatically the same. Having muscle tone usually means: 👉 carrying a decent amount of muscle 👉 while being lean enough to see some definition Whereas a lot of celebrity physiques that get labelled as “toned” are often just very slim with low body fat. And honestly, this matters because women then spend YEARS: * under eating * fearing weights * chasing smaller and smaller bodies * trying not to “look bulky” …instead of building strength, confidence, muscle and actual health. You do not need to disappear to look good ❤️ FOLLOW @mrssusiejenkins for less dumb s**t45.5K reach

January gets busy because people are trying. Trying to feel better, get stronger, change habits, start again, whatever their reason. You weren’t born knowing how to lift. You didn’t ‘earn’ the gym by starting earlier. It’s shared space. Adapt, be patient, crack on. If a busier room throws you off, that’s not the equipment’s fault. Let people start. We’ll all be fine. And people who are starting, you belong there just as much as anyone else ❤️ 💪40.9K reach

Can you spot the difference? No? Exactly 😂 They’re both doing the same exercise, but one is building muscle, while the other is simply going through the motions. Because results aren’t just about what you do during that one hour in the gym. They’re shaped by everything happening outside it too. One prioritises her sleep. The other stays up scrolling, wakes up exhausted and spends the day craving anything that’ll give her a quick energy boost. One understands roughly what her body needs. She eats enough protein, includes carbs, and has some awareness of her calories. The other picks at food all day, barely eats enough protein and simply hopes for the best. One follows a structured strength programme for long enough to actually see progress, repeating the main movements and gradually increasing what she can do. The other trains randomly, misses weeks, chooses workouts depending on her mood and jumps from class to class chasing sweat and soreness. Then wonders why nothing is changing 🎲 And before anyone gets their knickers in a twist: ALL movement counts. Walking, fitness classes and cardio are brilliant, and I’ll never tell you otherwise. BUT 👇 If you want a specific result… ✨ Fat loss ✨ More muscle definition ✨ A stronger, more toned body ✨ To feel confident in your clothes ✨ To look in the mirror and genuinely like what you see …then your training needs to be specific too. Results don’t happen by accident. They come from structured training, enough protein, eating the right amount for your goal, getting some sleep and staying consistent for longer than a fortnight. Not being “perfect” for three days and starting again every Monday 😘 You don’t need extremes, punishment or another fancy quick fix. You need the basics, done properly and consistently, for long enough to give your body a reason to change. If you’re training hard but not seeing the results you want, send me the word “STRONG” and let’s have a chat 💪40.5K reach

Everyone’s raving about Ozempic right now. The weight loss looks “miraculous.” So what has this proved to us? Being in a calorie deficit works! Shock horror 😝 Ozempic doesn’t break the rules of fat loss… it just makes it easier to follow them. 👉 The injection suppresses appetite and slows digestion. 👉 That means you naturally eat fewer calories. 👉 And that creates…the same calorie deficit we’ve always needed for fat loss. So when people say, “I’ve tried everything, nothing works except Ozempic”… What they’re actually proving is this: They’re not broken. Their metabolism isn’t special. The deficit works — always has, always will. The only difference? The drug reduces hunger enough for them to finally stay consistent. And THAT’S the real conversation we should be having. 💡 Sustainable fat loss isn’t about injections. It’s about creating the same environment — a calorie deficit you can actually stick to — through smarter food choices, habits and support. It’s a skill that can be learned. It’s something that needs to be taught. We need to educate - not stick a plaster over the problem. #ozempic #weightloss37.5K reach

Somewhere between “I’m absolutely fine” and “why does my body suddenly feel like it’s been replaced overnight?”… Yeah. I get it. Perimenopause is no joke. The sleep changes. The mood swings. The random cravings. The body composition shifts. Feeling wiped out all day, then suddenly wide awake at 3am wondering what on earth is going on. BUT I refuse to believe we’re just meant to accept feeling tired, uncomfortable, flat, and disconnected from ourselves just because we’re in our 40s. NOPE! I still want to feel strong. I still want energy. I still want to feel confident in my clothes. I still want to look after myself now, so future me is still moving, living, and enjoying life in 10, 20, 30 years’ time. And yes… wanting to feel good naked is still a valid goal 😂 Maybe the way we train needs to change. Maybe our nutrition needs a bit more intention. Maybe recovery, stress, sleep, warm-ups, and consistency matter more than they used to. But this stage of life isn’t the start of the downhill slide. It can be the point where we finally stop winging it and start taking proper care of ourselves. So if you’re an 80s/90s baby who still wants to feel strong, fit, confident, feminine, energised, and very much alive… You’re my kind of person. We’re getting older. But we’re absolutely not fading into the background 🔥 If this sounds like you, drop me a message with the word “STRONG” and I’ll send you the details of how I can help. #onlinecoach #perimenopausehealth #40andfit #weightloss37.3K reach

So just to confirm… We’re now meant to: • wear a weighted vest to Tesco • clean the house in it • do the school run in it Listen… If you’re carrying a toddler, a handbag, and the emotional weight of remembering World Book Day… You’re already resistance training. You don’t need extreme fitness hacks. You need consistency.31K reach

I have 12 weeks until I’m 40! 🥳 12 weeks to feel my best yet. Want to see how I do it? FOLLOW @mrssusiejenkins 👍 Let’s go 💪 #fatloss #transformation #weightloss23.6K reach

Give me a follow @mrssusiejenkins “Women don’t need to lift weights.” No. Women need to stop believing that exercise is only about burning calories. Because lifting weights isn’t just about changing how your body looks… It’s about protecting how your body functions. Strength training helps preserve muscle as you age, supports bone health, improves balance, reduces the risk of falls, helps regulate blood sugar, and allows you to stay independent for longer. It’s the difference between simply getting older… …or getting older while still being able to lift your grandchildren, carry your shopping, climb the stairs without thinking twice, and live life on your own terms. Your goal shouldn’t just be to live a long life. It should be to live a long life where you’re still strong enough to enjoy it. So no… Women don’t just need to lift weights. They deserve to know why it’s one of the best investments they can make in their future health. 👇 If you’re choosing a strong life , drop a 💪 in the comments.20.5K reach
